Our fee structure is based mainly on three decisions; the loan amount, the complexity of your borrowing needs and whether we are arranging the mortgage for you or providing an advice-only service.
In all cases, we will provide you with a free initial consultation which will include a Key Facts Illustration (KFI) or quotation that clearly breaks down any fees that we may charge. You can speak to your dedicated Mortgage and Protection Adviser for help understanding any fees charged by Ingard or a lender/ provider.
We offer a range of fee structures dependent on your individual requirements and circumstances: –
Advice-only fee – A fee of £250 is payable upon completion, where we provide advice and a subsequent recommendation to obtain a mortgage through a lender that only offers mortgages to customers that apply direct.
Standard mortgage – A fee of £500 is payable upon completion.
Complex mortgage – A fee of 1% of the mortgage loan is payable upon completion, subject to a minimum fee of £1,000. For advice on what would be considered as a “complex mortgage”, call our Mortgage and Protection Advisers on 01702 538 800 or email info@ingard.co.uk.
We do not charge a fee for arranging an insurance policy. If the insurance provider charges any fees then we will inform you of this when you receive your quotation.

Complex second charge mortgage – A fee of £1,495 is payable on completion or can be added to the loan. The customer will need to cover any upfront fees, such as the valuation fee and any lender processing fees.
Zero upfront fees – A fee of 5% is payable upon completion or can be added to the loan (minimum fee charged £1,500, maximum fee charged £4,000). Ingard will cover any upfront fees, such as the valuation fee and any lender processing fees. This option may be suitable for any customers who cannot afford to pay any upfront fees.
